The Disappearance of Mason Roberson

16 year old Mason Roberson was last seen in Anchorage, Alaska on May 18, 2024. He was last seen leaving his residence following a confrontation with his parents around 5:30 am.

Disappearance

At approximately 5:30 am on May 18, 2024, Mason Roberson left his residence in Anchorage, Alaska after his father confronted him about drinking. After walking out, he sent a text message to his family stating “I genuinely don’t need you.” 

Mason was last captured on a neighbor’s Ring camera in the 14000 block of Venus Way breaking his cell phone. This is the last confirmed sighting of him. 

Investigation

Mason left without his medication and had no money or identification with him, according to his parents.

Investigators say he has ties to British Columbia and/or California.

On November 1, 2024, Mason’s 17th birthday, his mother received a text stating “long time, no see,” and that he was alright and that he hoped his family was alright. When his mother texted back she got no response.

On Mother’s Day she received a text from a different number, asking how her day was and if she had some fun.

It is unknown of the texts were from Mason, a wrong number, or some type of scam.

Mason’s parents are offering a reward of $10,000 that leads to the location of their son.

Appearance

White male with brown hair and brown eyes. Mason stands 5’7 tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has a scar on his right eyebrow.

Clothing & Accessories:
Mason was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, grey shorts, eyeglasses, and white tennis shoes.
