The Disappearance of Daniel Davis

59 year old Daniel Davis III was last seen in Blue Island, Illinois on November 26, 2025. He was last seen leaving St. Donatus Church in the 1900 block of S. Union Street around 6:30 pm.

Disappearance

At 11:15 pm on November 24, 2025, Daniel Davis III was involved in a head on collision in front of the Garden Homes Fire Department.

He is believed to have suffered a head injury. Davis and the other driver both refused medical treatment.

Daniel’s car was towed and police gave him a ride back to Bourbon Street where he has worked for 25 years.

November 25, 2025 Sightings

At 1:15 am on November 25, 2025, Daniel Davis III was last seen in person leaving 115 Bourbon Street at at 3359 W. 115th St. in Merrionette Park, Illinois. 

At 7:30 am he was captured on video walking through a yard at Des Plaines & Gregory and hitting his head on the sidewalk.

At 3:00 pm a disoriented Dan showed up at 13217 Old Western Avenue asking how to get to Bourbon. He was headed east on Long Grove Avenue towards Old Western Avenue.

At 4:20 pm he was captured at 127th & Greenwood walking around and looking in the bed of a truck.

At 6:00pm he was captured at 127th & Kedzie at the Pilot Gas Station with a bloody face.

November 26 Sightings

At 6:35 pm on November 26, 2025, Dan was captured on camera at St. Donatus Church in the 1900 block of South Union Street in Blue Island. This is the last confirmed sighting of Dan.

Dan may be disoriented and in need of medical attention.

Investigation

There has been no activity on Dan’s credit or debit cards since he went missing. His cell phone last pinged on November 22, 2025.

Dan might be carrying identification with him, since his wallet was not found in his car.

A Cook County scent dog picked up Dan’s scent from the church to an entry point in the fence under the 127th Street Bridge leading to a rail yard, though after that the trail went cold.

There was a potential sighting of Dan in the Joliet area, but it has not been confirmed.

Appearance

White male with bald/grey hair and brown eyes. Daniel stands 5’8 tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Clothing & Accessories:
Dan was last seen wearing a black Harley Davidson jacket, red sweatshirt, black jeans, and a black baseball hat.
